Every insurer has its own allowances. For example, how many hours are alloted for remove and refit on a bumper and the paint units they will pay you to paint it. Unless you know every single line item, looking that up by hand for every line on every quote is slow, and easy to get mixed up when you're busy.

For insurance work you'll see that insurer's standard line items. You'll also see your shop's own custom lines. Pick the one you want and it will be added to the quote. Once off line? Simply type it in and enter the hours and paint units yourself.

Which insurers does PanelGear support?
PanelGear includes standard line items for major New Zealand and Australian insurers, including IAG. If an insurer you work with isn't set up yet, get in touch, as new insurers are added regularly. If they have a standard allowance sheet, we can add them with ease.
Can I add my own line items?
Yes. Every shop can add custom lines with its own hours and pricing, for work that isn't on an insurer's sheet or for private jobs.
Can I edit the hours or rates PanelGear suggests?
Yes. Hours, paint units and price are all editable on any line before the quote goes out.
Does this replace my insurer's rate book?
It uses the same standard allowances as your insurer's rate book, so you get the same figures without leaving the quote you're writing.
